• Profile and content — project details, pitches, showcase pages, comments, likes, and other content you submit.
• Usage and activity data — pitch views, token balances, boost activity, reputation signals, and similar product interactions.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP, and cookies or similar technologies needed for authentication and analytics.
• Communications — messages you send us (for example support requests or token purchase requests) and your email preference settings.
• Third-party project metadata — when you import a public GitHub repository, we may retrieve publicly available repository metadata such as name, description, and preview images.

3. How we use your information

• Provide, operate, and improve PitchHut, including accounts, pitches, projects, and leaderboards

• Show your public profile, projects, and activity to other users where the product is designed to be public

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the product is used. Essential cookies are required for authentication and core functionality. Analytics tools may set their own cookies or local storage keys.

7. Analytics

We use PostHog to understand product usage (for example page views and feature interactions). When you are signed in, analytics events may be associated with your user id and email so we can improve the product. We configure analytics differently in non-production environments and may disable capturing there.

8. Service providers

We share personal data with service providers who help us run PitchHut, including:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers
• Authentication and database providers (including Supabase)
• Email delivery providers
• Analytics providers (including PostHog)
• Google, when you choose to sign in with Google
