AI Game Studio is a versatile web application designed for the generation of 2D game sprites and animation frames directly from text prompts, utilizing xAI / Grok Imagine technology. This innovative tool allows users to create a reference sprite, describe its motion, and extract PNG frames to compose a 1×N spritesheet complete with a looping animated preview.

• Automatic Chroma-Keying: Backgrounds are automatically keyed to transparency, allowing seamless integration of frames into game engines.
• Project Management: Users can save and load projects by name, enabling easy access to previous creations.

How It Works

1. Generate Reference Sprite: Input a detailed sprite prompt in the first column to create a reference sprite.
2. Generate Motion Frames: Specify a motion prompt in the second column to generate frames that depict the desired action, utilizing image-to-video conversion to extract transparent PNGs.
3. Customize Your Spritesheet: Select the frames to include and create a full spritesheet by clicking Generate Spritesheet. This process builds a looping GIF preview on the server side and a PNG client-side.
4. Export Options: Download the created spritesheet using the Export PNG function.
5. Project Tools: Use the options to New, Save, and Load projects, which are all saved under the projects/ directory, with the latest state in projects/latest/.

Examples of Prompts

Sprite prompts include phrases such as:

• A pixel-art knight in silver armor with a longsword, side-view, full body, simple flat colors, standing pose
• Cute green slime monster, side-view, big eyes, soft shading

Motion prompts can be:

• Smooth walk cycle, side-view, no head tilting, no camera movement
• Sword slash attack, side-view, fast, no shadows
