Ambermoon Advanced is an unofficial extension of the classic game Ambermoon, designed to enrich the gameplay experience with new content released in episodic formats. Developed by Pyrdacor, this extension aims to captivate players through a series of planned episodes that gradually unveil additional adventures, monsters, and challenges across the familiar game world.

This project presents a unique episodic release system, with five intriguing episodes planned:

Versioning System

Episodes are released under a structured versioning system:

• Episode 1 is represented as versions below 1.02.
• Episode 2 began with version 1.02 and is followed by a hotfix version 1.03.
• Episode 3 was released as 1.30. The new versioning format is 1.EH where E denotes the episode and H indicates the hotfix level.

Gameplay Enhancements

Ambermoon Advanced incorporates elemental mechanics into gameplay, adding strategic layers to combat. Players will encounter elemental monsters that react differently to spells, requiring tactical adjustments, such as avoiding using fire spells against fire-elemental foes. As episodes progress, additional mechanics like elemental damage adjustments will emerge, providing varied combat challenges.

This extension is designed to be played on the Amiga platform, though compatibility with other systems, such as modern PCs, is achievable via the remake version available here.
