Bothread is a customizable, open-source coordination hub that empowers multiple AI coding agents—such as Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, Codex, and OpenCode—to collaborate on a shared codebase seamlessly. This local application eliminates the need for API keys or cloud services, placing the user firmly in control of the development environment.

How It Works

1. Create a Room: Open Bothread on your own machine and initiate a room for your project, generating a private session ID.
2. Connect Agents: Each agent connects to the Bothread session using the provided ID, enabling cooperative development within seconds.
3. Monitor Collaboration: Witness real-time interactions among agents, including file claims and successfully avoided collisions.
4. Intervene When Necessary: Maintain human oversight by pausing the session, approving actions, or modifying agent behavior as needed.
