Project details
Eulix transforms large codebases into easy-to-navigate, queryable indexes, enabling quick access to symbols, call graphs, and more. This enhances code comprehension and accelerates development. It intelligently routes questions to the optimal answering mechanism, making both simple and complex queries manageable.
Eulix provides a powerful solution for navigating and understanding large codebases efficiently. By parsing the repository into a queryable index—comprising symbols, call graphs, and optional semantic embeddings—Eulix ensures that code questions are routed to the most efficient mechanisms available. Importantly, the use of Large Language Models (LLM) is optional and reserved for scenarios requiring advanced reasoning.
Large codebases often present significant challenges in locating the relevant information needed for effective understanding and navigation. Traditional tools like grep and LSP solve specific problems but do not comprehensively cover the spectrum of code dependencies, types, and subsystems. Eulix addresses this gap by offering a hybrid approach to code intelligence that combines efficient text search with sophisticated semantic analysis.
Eulix accommodates a variety of programming languages, including C, C++, Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, Rust, and TypeScript. Note that JSX and TSX are not currently supported.
Developers can utilize Eulix to ask specific questions about code, such as:
Eulix redefines code navigation and understanding for developers managing complex codebases, leveraging advanced indexing and retrieval techniques that prioritize local execution and privacy. It effectively transforms code intelligence into an indexing and retrieval problem, bridging the gaps left by traditional tools.
