About this project

Hum to Search is our browser-based song finder for the tune you remember but cannot name. Record a melody or upload audio, choosing humming/singing mode or recorded-music recognition. It uses one-time credit packs rather than a recurring subscription. Recognition depends on the audio and a match is not guaranteed.

A melody can be your starting point

Hum to Search helps people search for a song when they remember the tune instead of the title. Record in the browser or upload an audio clip. Choose humming or singing for a remembered melody, and recording mode for recorded music.

Prepare a clearer query

Try a distinctive chorus for 10–20 seconds in a quiet place. A clear melody gives the search a better starting point, but recognition is not guaranteed.

Credits, not a subscription

Searches use one-time credit packs. Completed searches, including no-match results, consume credits; technical errors do not. Check the website for current prices and pack details.
