A streamlined solution for agile backlog and workspace management.
Project details
Kit offers a unique one-call approach to managing agile backlogs, job tasks, and workspaces. Designed for efficiency, it simplifies operations by validating and applying changes with a single command. Built with Rust, this tool ensures seamless integration and easy migration, making it ideal for teams seeking to optimize their workflow.
The EOIE Source Workspace is designed to streamline and enhance the operation of executing one-call operations. In EOIE, every operation, whether it's a patch batch, a multi-file write, or a gated change, is handled in a single, streamlined call that performs validation and application simultaneously. This repository serves as the core workspace extracted from the EOIE bundle, facilitating both development and testing.
Build Requirements: Users need to install Rust version 1.88 or newer. In addition, Windows users should have the MSVC C++ build tools, while Linux users will require a native C linker.
Building the Project: To bootstrap the Spiral-authored driver into a dedicated target directory, execute the following commands:
cargo build --locked --package eoie-dev --target-dir target/workflow-driver
./target/workflow-driver/debug/eoie-dev --root .. --test --skip-release
This enables users to test the development environment efficiently. Users can run tests with PowerShell as follows:
pwsh -NoProfile -File build.ps1 -Test
pwsh -NoProfile -File eoie.ps1 help
The repository includes tools such as typed_predicate, which implements byte/text predicates utilizing GADTs, existential projections, and HKT registries to replace outdated helpers and optimize performance. The eoie-predicate-lift tool further simplifies code rewriting for native Spiral usage, ensuring compatibility and correctness within existing codebases.
cargo build --locked -p eoie-predicate-lift
./target/debug/eoie-lift-predicate sha256 helper input.spi candidate.spi
The EOIE framework supports a native Spiral compiler designed for flexibility and use across both Windows and Linux platforms. Essential operations include compiling with a single-flight mode, which is optimized for stability and performance during the development cycle. The native compiler is essential for generating outputs while ensuring compiled binaries remain cohesive and optimized for deployment.
The workspace incorporates agile management features, enabling efficient task management and execution tracking. Users can easily create, manage, and execute tasks with clear status indicators, providing a robust framework for project management and development oversight.
The EOIE Source Workspace empowers developers to manage their application backlogs and jobs with efficiency. This repository forms the backbone of developing and managing EOIE-based projects through innovative tools and streamlined workflows.
