Turn a song idea into a finished FL Studio project, with a mastered MP3, in under a minute.
Project details
P5 MIDI Studio writes real FL Studio project files (.flp), MIDI and a mastered MP3 from a one-line idea. The free, open-source core runs locally with your own FL Studio. The Windows app adds a built-in AI composer and stem export. The free plan includes 5 songs a month. Unlimited is $5/month or $39/year.
Project5pi MIDI for Claude enables the seamless creation of music using artificial intelligence. This innovative tool allows users to input a brief description of a song, specifying details such as key, tempo, and arrangement. The application then generates a fully functional FL Studio project, complete with a mastered MP3 file and MIDI data, fully automating the music creation process.
.flp files using customizable templates. This functionality bypasses the need for manual handling inside FL Studio, allowing for a smoother workflow.The workflow is illustrated as follows:
idea --> Claude --> song.json --> p5midi build --> song.flp (+ song.mid)
|
FL64.exe /R <-------+ (your FL Studio renders it)
|
song.wav --> master --> song.mp3 --> analyze --> notes back to Claude
The project supports a JSON-based song specification format to define various elements:
{
"template": "HipHop-Trap",
"bpm": 140,
"key": "A minor",
"parts": {
"drums": {...},
"808": {...},
"pad": {...},
"hook": {...}
}
}
Users can modify elements ranging from rhythm structures to melodic components for personalized compositions.
Various commands facilitate ease of use, such as:
p5midi create "idea": Generate and render a song based on a provided specification.p5midi render song.flp: Render the FL Studio project.p5midi analyze song.mp3: Analyze the rendered output for loudness and balance.This project offers an efficient way to create music, allowing for rapid experimentation and iteration without requiring extensive prior knowledge of music production or FL Studio.
