Shepherdr: Comprehensive Web Interface for Herdr

Shepherdr offers a mobile-friendly web interface for Herdr, enabling convenient monitoring of agents and facilitating seamless interactions from smartphones. With Shepherdr, users can:

• Effortlessly Monitor Terminal Status: Each terminal is clearly marked as working, blocked, idle, done, or unknown. Whenever a terminal requires attention, Shepherdr provides timely notifications, eliminating the need to search for issues.

• Direct Terminal Access: Users can open a specific terminal, read its output, send text commands or shortcuts, and attach files while an agent is present. Shepherdr ensures that the original view is preserved and does not substitute terminal panes.

• Manage Workspaces via Mobile: Create and manage workspaces utilizing a smartphone. Users can add worktrees, close completed tasks, and delete clean checkouts, with Herdr executing all necessary operations in the background.

• Receive Significant Notifications: Notifications are meaningful and actionable, keeping users informed about blocked tasks, completions, or trusted sign-in changes. Users can swiftly navigate to active terminals directly through the notifications.

• Secure, Passkey-based Sign-in: The first sign-in creates a trusted relationship with the device using passkeys, eliminating the need for email or password logins during future accesses. New browser sessions are not inherently trusted.

• Privacy First Design: Shepherdr is designed to be private by default, utilizing loopback connections and tailnet configurations to safeguard interactions. This ensures that merely reaching Shepherdr with a new device does not grant access or trust.
