What is TechDetect?
TechDetect is a technology detection API that identifies the complete technology stack of any website. It goes beyond simple header sniffing by combining four detection layers for maximum accuracy.
Detection Layers
- HTTP Headers — Server, X-Powered-By, Set-Cookie patterns, security headers
- HTML & JavaScript — DOM fingerprints, meta tags, global JS variables, inline scripts
- DNS Records — MX records, TXT records, CNAME mappings for CDN/hosting detection
- TLS Certificates — Certificate authority, organization, and issuer analysis
